Great demand for hot-rolled steel coils

Hot rolled steel coil, which is made of slab (mainly continuous casting billet) as raw material, heated and then made into the strip by rough rolling unit and finishing rolling unit. The hot steel strip from the last mill of finishing rolling is cooled to the set temperature by laminar flow and rolled into a steel strip coil by the coiling machine after cooling.

Because of the excellent properties of hot-rolled steel products such as high strength, good toughness, easy processing and forming, and good weldability, they are widely used in the manufacturing industries of ships, automobiles, bridges, buildings, machinery and pressure vessels.

Since May 2022, domestic steel raw material prices have been falling, there is still greater demand for hot-rolled steel coils.
